Specimen PVL 6386, a Sebecidae indet. from the Lumbrera Formation (Eocene, Argentina). A nearly complete articulated skull with jaws and three cervical vertebrae in exceptional state of preservation.
Traditionally referred to as cf. Sebecus sp. but possibly closer to other genera.

A digital drawing of a Homotherium latidens cub, based on a mummy that was found in Siberia. Just a sleepy little thing. It's also fluffy and looks soft (or it does, at least! I did my best). I tried to draw the head from the side just like in the paper to show the resemblance, and also show the unique shape of it's paws. The background is dark, with a few stars that form constellations. There is one little star on the head of the cub, that shines slightly brighter than the others.

A portrait of the carnivorous dinosaur Dilophosaurus. It's shown side-on, turning to its left to bring its face into view. Its colours are a mix of muted reds and pinkish creams, with notable darker red stripes on the neck. The famous twin crests atop its skull are mostly covered by large air-filled structures, with an almost balloon-like appearance, while the edges of the bones crest are tipped by rows of rounded keratinous spikes. A series of stripes quills stick up from the top of the neck, while the lower areas of the neck show a series of prominent skin folds. Its eyes are a piercing orange, and stand out against the more muted body colours. The background is a textured dark reddish-grey.
