Social worker, therapist, all around sardonic person. Largely unknown but I take up a lot of space in my own mind.
I was just reading this today and found it here on bluesky too. I wanted to repost it because it is so important. There is so much we should be doing to improve the lives of children if we can just take back our government and restart the fight for health and safety.

This is an incredible photo. I can’t stop looking at it.
Took this one tonight at sunset up on La Cumbre Peak and I don't hate it! #Sunset #Photography #SantaBarbara

I am a bit astonished to say that I have seen all of these dramas.
Oh my!

I knew The Double had to be there. That fan!
Do you have a favourite historical #cdrama entrance?

This is too important not to be boosted. I am a huge believer in the incredible work that can and must be done in prisons to help the incarcerated survive, grow, and thrive. This is an amazing example.
We received a stunning letter (with something special attached) this week from a man incarcerated in Virginia. We want to share it with you all.

Tldr: Books change lives. BOOKS CHANGE LIVES. And we couldn’t have helped this scholar without you. Thank you for your support.

I love coming upon a poem I know, unexpectedly, here on bluesky. They leap off the page and feel new again. Thanks Litbowl.

I have to repost this because I have taken so many pictures of Tulips but failed to capture their raw, passionate essence. This picture by Plustax444 is phenomenal!

Screencap of clawbacks negotiated with Amazon, recipient of a $20 million rent subsidy that Charlie Baker falsely claimed to the public was for Seaport transit improvements.

Meanwhile, Walsh’s BPDA quietly relieved Amazon’s landlord of $20 million in pre-existing transit improvement obligations.

I’m still a novice so didn’t post why I put that up. It’s a shocking example of what we are all discussing here: the creation of mob thinking in large, isolated, bubbles in social media. The wellness to dead baby pipeline is real and we need to find a way to combat it.

TRUMP [after spending 5 minutes with Zohran]: surplus value, it’s a very wonderful thing, very wonderful, and they’re stealing it. Can you believe that?

As an anthropologist who became a social worker and clinical therapist I think this idea of a Clinical ontologist is gold. I aspire to be a Clinical Anthropologist, bouncing between the individual psychological issues and the larger social and cultural currents that create this problem, this person.

Just saw someone described as an "ontologist" and now I want Clinical Ontologist to be a job title.

Welcome to the Department of Clinical Ontology. Let's go over your chart. I see that you are. Are you still as you were or are you otherwise? For your case of being, I prescribe becoming.

On foot everything stays connected, for while walking one occupies the spaces between those interiors in the same way one occupies those interiors. One lives in the whole world rather than in interiors built up against it.
