Hi, I’m Alan.
In case you’ve missed my last 2 decades on social media, I’m a total car nerd, particularly about the Toyota Yaris, but I also cycle and enjoy hiking.
Trains, buses and public transport/transit are cool too and I think all those should be cleaner, more frequent and cheaper.

As is right and proper!

It’s true. If you get the bus from central Bern rather than the train you go straight past the stadium.

The “W” is pronounced “V”. It’s close enough that the Swiss “get it”.

Ah yes, signposted from all over the autobahn network.

Watching the newest Jet Lagged and one team just passed through (Bern) Wankdorf.
Coincidentally, it’s where Swiss Railways have some of their rather nice offices. 🙂
A Swiss station sign reading Bern Wankdorf.

I hate “dead eye” LED conversions.

Plenty of stories to draw our ire and scorn this week. Equally, an enlightening item about others exploiting charger operators but also, how bad they are at meeting regulations.

Really fascinating and clever Dacia concept.

Points of Interest has a UK success story, to read about.

My favourite feature of Niels van Roij’s Corniche shooting brake is this electrically retractable cycle rack.

It slots into the centre section of a new, horseshoe-shaped fuel tank.

Tank capacity isn’t diminished – handy when you have a 6.75-litre V8 and three-speed auto ’box…

When the Legacy Turbo was new they were EVERYWHERE up here. In fact, that generation Legacy was an absolute staple across this part of Perthshire. Then IM decided to “be more premium” and consolidate dealerships, so the local garages disappeared and with it the Subaru population.

Almost total guesswork today.

I should probably advertise more often. You can buy prints from me, commission pictures, make 3d models, animation, come up with excellent ideas, all sorts. tell your mates. cheers.

I’d like to make it clear that I clarified in the original post that I was talking about teabags.
Mostly because I have the same sense of humour. 😆

I’m not sure @hubnut.bsky.social would describe this as a sitcom, but the idea of one of Ian’s videos starting with, “HubNotes is filmed before a live studio audience!” makes me chuckle.
A screen capture of the HubNut/HubNotes video titled “My mental block has kicked in again” listed by YouTube on my home screen under “Sitcoms and more”.

I was going to say “never appropriate behaviour”, but then I remember showing off my PG Tips teabags to Jim in Boston. 😬

Of course, it was in a @motoringpodcast.com List of The Week not so long ago!
