One weird side effect of the lack of algo seems to be that harassment campaigns like this are less visible on main. That does likely prevent some virality, but also means they are spotted later & interventions take longer. I'm on here a lot & literally didn't see any of this until Sky's last post.
Sky Marchini was pushed off the platform by nonstop death threats literally yesterday.

The protestors in Nepal were flying Straw Hit Pirates flags. Fandom is a much more powerful motivator than political theory these days because we exist in a realm of politics that is essentially a form of fandom. Sorry but Marx and Lenin are dead; long live Luffy and Luthen.
