Don't threaten us with a good time, Daily Express.
Image featuring a graphic from the Bradford District Green Party. The background is green with the Daily Express logo in the upper left and a photo of Zack Polanski speaking into a microphone on the right, holding a cartoon-style bundle of cash with a pound sign. Below, a mocked-up newspaper headline reads: “Zack Polanski wants to redistribute our money and turn Britain into a Left-wing haven.” At the bottom, the Green Party logo and web address Join.greenparty.org.uk are displayed.

Where I live the roads are slowly collapsing already with HGV use

The axle load increase he'd like would increase road wear by 40% - wear-wise we'd be better off with more journeys instead. That's not ideal of course so maybe the vehicle designers could work on this a bit more?

Ah, there's always an annex isn't there!

Surely you're OK as a meat containing animal?

When I tried to estimate land efficiency of biofuel transport compared with PV+EV it was worse than your beef figure, it looked to me like horses might be a better biofueled form of transport than combustion engines
alanclarke.bsky.social
There's a slight difference in that you don't eat beef for energy - but fair to point out inefficiency compared with say poultry as source of animal protein.
With vehicles the result of carrying a load a distance is the same with electric motor or combustion engine

I'd assume the clothes retain some moisture, final miisture content condition being equilibrium with vapour in surrounding air?

Migrants, and the children of migrants, have been caring for my 92-year-old Mum after a nasty fracture and helping her back to independence, this past 6 weeks. Where we would be as a family without them, God only knows. We thank each and every one of them from the bottom of our hearts ❤️

Anyone who really knows migrants knows this. We know how hard it is to move to another country, and how much commitment and heartache it takes.

Migrants already "earn the right to settlement" through extortionate visa costs, which can run into tens of thousands of pounds. They prop up key services, including through the Immigration Health Surcharge.

Pushing the hostile environment on steroids helps no-one.

Via The Independent: Donald Trump’s false claim that London ‘wants to go to Sharia law’ has been described as ‘appalling and bigoted’ by Mayor Sadiq Khan.

The Muslim Council of Britain responded: “We pray for Mr Trump's health and wellbeing as his hallucinations seem to be getting worse by the day”

Interestingly I recall seeing reported mesasurements showing that house extract vent reduced indoor radon levels (vs no mech vent) - I was surprised but assumed due to fact it was easier to get outdoor air into the house than though the floor, so radon was diluted by increased ventilation

A new study, based on a survey of 1,150 workers suggests that the injection of AI tools into the workplace has not resulted in a magic productivity boom and instead increased the amount of time that workers say they spend fixing low-quality AI-generated “work.”

AI ‘Workslop’ Is Killing Productivity and Making Workers Miserable
AI slop is taking over workplaces. Workers said that they thought of their colleagues who filed low-quality AI work as "less creative, capable, and reliable than they did before receiving the output."

Yes indeed, but with fan assisted radiators you might be able to get a useful amount of cooling out of 17 C water, if the radiator capacity is generous enough and fans move enough air.
