The downsizing of the National Weather Service and the NOAA appears to be part of an effort to privatize the work of such agencies.

In several instances, the companies poised to step into the void have deep ties to people tapped by Trump to run weather-related agencies. apnews.com/article/trum...

What Republicans in Congress just did is give Trump all the infrastructure he needs for a mass, nationwide ethnic cleansing campaign complete with funding to build all the concentration camps he'll need.

And if you think it's just undocumented immigrants who will wind up in them, you're very naive.
I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

Congrats to Lisa Murkowski on voting for a bill that she herself admitted was not ready in hopes that the House would change it. Now it’ll become law. She had the power to stop it, and instead chose to become complicit. That’s her legacy.

I’m sick of the mainstream media using euphemisms and other weasel wording to soft-pedal the Trump regime’s corruption.
Rather than committing crimes, Trump “sidesteps laws.”
Rather than lying, he’s “untethered to truth” or “inverting the facts.”

Note the sourcing when you see reports like this about how “sleeper cells” could be activated in the U.S. by Iran.

And remember that “U.S. officials” can now include people like Kristi Noem and Stephen Miller and 19 year old DOGE dipshits like Big Balls.
