Last week, the Health and Social Care Committee questioned Stephen Kinnock on the findings of the report which the committee commissioned into palliative care.

The reports findings were worse than we were expecting.

It is clear that palliative care services are not good enough and must improve.

So just found out that Audible have silently removed six audiobooks from my library. Because I noticed, and complained, they gave six credits to buy them back again. They did this because the publishers updated the books and Audible just deleted the old versions.

I’m still reading the biography of Dr James Barry, who was born a woman but lived and worked as a military surgeon.

Sometimes thought to be a bit effeminate, he was largely unchallenged in his lifetime.

Lots of things were problematic in the early 1800s, but mostly people accepted him as he was.
