Mikel got out of jail there. Lessons need to be learned. Deep block at home - you need to be packing the ballers. And really don’t think Hincapie is a CB starting option - would prefer him and Calafiori swap.

This is where the cluster injuries really screw us. Merino or MLS should be taking minutes off Rice but can’t because they’re needed for cover. Club need to sort this.

I’d have taken a point before the match and stand by that even if circumstances were in our favour. Team is tired after a big week - need bodies back as at the moment feels like another season where it’s us vs the physio room.

I also think we invited that pressure with the Mosquera sub. No slight on him at all, and I do get it when managers do that, but we had players like White, MLS, Nwaneri who could have given us more energy and play more of the final stages in their half.
