this is small comfort given he has state power and i don’t but i am struck by what an obviously weak and fragile man miller is. a blubbering piss baby whose entire affect and personality is an attempt to make up for his profound feelings of inadequacy
MILLER: The US is using its military to secure our interests unapologetically in our hemisphere. We're a superpower. It's absurd we'd allow a nation in our backyard to become a supplier of resources to our adversaries

TAPPER: Sovereign countries shouldn't be able to do what they want?

Instead of one Paul Bremer you get three.
Trump says he will designate people to run Venezuela, and says the people standing behind him on stage will be "largely" running the country. That appears to be Secretaries Hegseth and Rubio and Gen. Caine.

It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month.

It’s about oil and regime change.

And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from his sinking under Epstein and skyrocketing healthcare costs.

I was waiting to say this, but yes. There is winter ball being played in Venezuela. If it escalates, God knows what happens. I refer you to those who said Matt Shaw would face no consequence in the clubhouse for making political speeches.

Are we at war with Venezuela?!?

I don't know. You don't know either.

It sure would be nice to have a legitimate Pentagon press corps right about now.

Crews of two ships jumped overboard after the US struck a third. An unspecified number were in the water Tuesday. And the military, seemingly for the first time since it began bombing alleged drug ships and people survived, contacted the Coast Guard to rescue them taskandpurpose.com/news/coast-g...

The effort, now in its fourth day, is the most extensive one conducted by the U.S. since it began attacks on alleged drug ships in September.

I don’t like that line at all. I would be strongly disinclined to support someone who said it. But it’s not like Mamdani’s opponents support individualism. Their slogan is “obey the dear leader, conform to conservatism, and send the garbage back where they came from.”
“We will replace the frigidity of rugged individualism with the warmth of collectivism.”

ah yes, the best way to explain and understand the world is by ignoring experts and practitioners and turning our attention to the “average American,” whatever that means
This isn't about democratizing the news. It's about elevating "vibes" and "feelings" to be on par with lived experience and subject-matter expertise.
