A lovely gay space nerd. Loves all things sci-fi and space, exploring new places and running. 🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧️ 🌟 Based in the south of England 🇬🇧
Back from Australia and seeing Lady Gaga in Sydney. Epic journey and best concert of my life despite the rain! Also got to catch up with my sister which was so special ❤️ very lucky but now also very jet lagged.

When you end up talking Star Trek on Bluesky/Telegram and it makes you smile just knowing there are fellow nerds out there who are equally into it. I would happily listen to the their head canon for hours (whilst trying not to info dump my whole one of them). ♥️ 🖖

I had a lovely day looking around Portsmouth historic dockyard with @stormvixen.bsky.social and @makari.moggy.org - fun times!

Today was another day where something struck me and I wanted to tell dad about it. Then I realised I can never tell him anything again. And that really sucks.

Run complete for the day ✅ I think I’ll need to continue my Babylon 5 watch through. Need some sweet white star action. And Marcus. ❤️

Worth a watch:

Head of Signal, Meredith Whittaker, on so-called "agentic AI" and the difference between how it's described in the marketing and what access and control it would actually require to work as advertised.

This morning @greenparty.org.uk has called for the EHRC’s harsh and ill-considered guidance on single-sex spaces to be withdrawn. As it stands the guidance puts trans people at risk of discrimination & violence, and clearly hasn’t been drawn up with trans people’s input. I’ll be pushing for better.

Whatever the rulings, the feeble government response and the nastiness of the people popping champagne. Trans people are my family, I love you all and we’re in this together. We all deserve a place, respect and dignity. ❤️ 🏳️‍⚧️

Today’s run complete whoop! It was so bad. No distance or timings will be included but I do have funky shorts on.

It’s been two weeks since I lost my father. Two weeks of ups and downs, tears and laughter. Two weeks to process the often difficult relationship I had with him. I still haven’t quite come to terms with the loss. I thought we had more time. Goodbye dad.

Back to running and gym now. Lost a lot of muscle mass after being quite poorly tail end of last year. But I’m ready to build back up ❤️

About to catch my flight back to the UK. I’ve had a wonderful time here. Thank you NZ for being so welcoming and kind. I feel more at home here than anywhere I’ve been.
