Yes, perhaps the metaverse is dead. But what does it mean that over 50% of U.S. kids use Roblox? Were sandbox platforms always the endgame? Was the real metaverse just the friends we made along the way?

I had friends in Facebook HR that were forced to hold group meetings in the Metaverse. Some of them were nauseous after each meeting 🤦🏼♂️
RIP the Metaverse. Thank you for all the memories of watching Mark Zuckerberg pour literally billions of dollars into you, just for every update to look like a shittier version of The Sims, without any legs…
