The Crab Nebula, a supernova remanent in the constellation Tauris that's 6,500 light years away from earth. This is a combination of RGB stars and data gathered using my LeXtreme for the nebula. I used my Apertura CarbonStar Ritchey-Chretien 8. Total integration time is 5h 20m. #astrophotography

Working on "VariSky Planner" : an observation planner dedicated to variable sources, based on a local database and including scoring algorithm and an adaptive time-sequence. I think it will become a nice educationnal tool.

Really think this is an important point.
When I started learning about #RadioAstronomy (pre-chatgpt) I went down random rabbit holes of knowledge.
From one of those, I found out that very early radio astronomy happened right here in Sydney not far from home, so I took my dog to see the old sites!
