I'm reading Ijeoma Oluo's "Mediocre: The Dangerous Legacy of White Male America." This book shows the pattern of how being black or woman, or both, in this country threatens the status quo for white men, Dem and Rep alike. And I think it does explain a lot about politics & our current situation

I'd wager more people die by car accidents or DUI drivers than train or subway crashes. If they weren't so busy deep-throating Big Oil, they'd see much needed change for public transportation infrastructure in the USA we need, and yes, that includes more trains.

Okay. I scrolled a little further down. There is ONE post Trump made that is still alarming. It's from Feb. Washington Times wrote an article about Trump's anti-gay army recruitment ads that do use the symbol. It's still bad and should be called out, but posting vids without context is dangerous

Saw a TikTok today in which someone is claiming that Trump posted on his Truth Social a pink triangle crossed out. For those not in the know, the pink triangle is the symbol the Nazis used to mark gays & lesbians who would be sent to the work and concentration camps. /1
