Just say concentration camp.
We need to get it broadly understood that Stephen Miller's ethnic cleansing will result in a permanent metastasized immigrant carceral state and paramilitary warfare on US streets that goes on *for years.*

The internal logic of his agenda dictates this of necessity.

For today’s @ftweekend.com I’m in Leeds at The Highland Laddie, a wedge of a pub, where the baked ham is served warm and comes with a mustard menu, the glazed lamb ribs could glaze your cheeks and the pastry on the sausage roll is ribbed for extra pleasure. Yours.

Can I just gently ask the good people of America not to elect a raving madman next time? It's a bit rum, frankly, and very trying for everyone else.

That all these things -as much as is in their power- sink downward through an empty void.”

I found out today that one of the forces pushing Trump the hardest for this Greenland shit is… the owner of Estée Lauder.

Sharing this here because they own SO MANY makeup brands and I bet a lot of you might like to join me in not repurchasing anything from this makeup brand family!

I think Nigel Kneale might have had a field day with ‘acoustic jars’ - centuries of choral singing trapped, then separated, as the church is abandoned, then reshaped into a open living space for a new couple from the city.

The Acoustic Jar seems a title waiting for a story.

I don’t mind newspapers being paywalled. I can even live with the “accept advertising and cookies to read” model, though I don’t like it.

Websites that make you click through an “accept advertising to read” window and THEN hit you with a paywall, however, can get in the sea.
