Two things can be true: 1.) The Game Awards are meaningless and we shouldn't take them all that seriously. 2.) Award shows of its scale DO rewrite the mainstream history of the art form, whether they deserve to or not, and its okay to care that it's so thoughtless despite having that responsibility.

ive ran in every mainline GDQ event since AGDQ24 until now. its a lot complicated feelings for sure. ive been fortunate enough to have run not once, but five times in the past four events, but not making it in this time was rough. ill get over it soon, but it sucks. window 2 was competitive af too

with the holidays coming up on us quickly, don't forget to skip the bigot bucket. there are so many other charities and mutual aid organizations that won't do stuff like this.

Speedrunning is kinda cool yall. Found this game a few days ago. Played it, routed it out, then got a decent run. I went to open an SRC page for it, to find someone else had already done it and beat my time by two minutes. We traded WR back and forth, until I get the first sub-10 today
