This is a very good reminder to keep your cats indoors. (Er, unless you're leashing them or keeping them on a cat patio.) I know that cats are very special little libertarians who demand their freedom to roam, but keeping them indoors keeps them and you safe. Please and thank you.

this is it. none of us are safe unless all of us are safe. and if we have the courage to adhere to that, we also have an advantage in the long run. the party that is willing to throw anyone and everyone under the bus is ultimately unsustainable.
Popular or not Dems cannot bend on the need for trans people to be treated with basic humanity and respect. If we give up that because the right made trans people unpopular, we give up everything. They’ll dice us group by group like a salami. We die on this hill or we die alone in a ditch

20 people? Amazing.
With a fully remote team of just 20 employees, Bluesky has surpassed 20 million users in its first year since opening to the public and is stealing thunder from rivals hundreds of times its size.

At a time when conventional wisdom among bosses is that workers must be in-person to be productive.

Hard pivot from recent Daily topics that gave me a chuckle this morning, but a very interesting listen. I’d love to explore this trend within the broader (and unfortunate) pendulum swing back to skinny heroin chic.
