And another thing. There’s nothing “conservative” about overhauling the entire federal government, which is what Project 2025 mandates. We’re only one (1) year into this nightmare and the Heritage Foundation’s Christian White Nationalist government transformation is already 48% complete.

Sad times.

Media literacy—and by extension FUNCTIONAL literacy— is in hell. As long as there’s a picture with a caption written in a particular font posted on a blog’s Twitter account yall will believe it.

Won’t take the time to look for a primary source to confirm anything. Just vibes.

It wasn't fake. It was edited. But Reagan really did spend a five-minute speech – an April 25, 1987, national radio address that the Reagan Library has published on YouTube – to rail against tariffs. It was a full-throated expression of support for free and fair trade.

I was listening to an audiobook and the narrator used the most unfamiliar pronunciation of Abednego I’ve ever heard. It caught me off guard, I had to play it back and really lock in to figure out the name.

I like this history which includes who Chris Christie has been.
NJ PBS shutting down next summer.

“15yrs ago Gov. Christie ended 4 decades of state funding for public TV, forcing them to find a new funder. The state cut $750k in funding this yr, but that was hardly the fatal blow; that came from the end of federal funds.”

America, you f**ked up!

She warned us. She had a plan that would have benefited everyday Americans. But too many ignored her—because it was never really about the economy.

Now folks are scared, struggling—and we’re cooked.

I have a theory about this:
I hear often “social media was a mistake”

when the real mistake was/is “an underdeveloped brain accessing social media”

I value intelligence, so I seek out intelligent ppl to connect w/

And ppl w/ underdeveloped brains who devalue intelligence will seek out similar ppl

Covid was the first time many privileged people felt vulnerable

They believed sickness was something that happened to “other people”. Disability was a “moral failing”

When they felt included in the vulnerable category, it angered them. The push back to “normal” is just an excuse for them to forget
