I'm the same way. I try & be professional. But every so often. I was interviewing Noel Fielding at the TCAs and mentioned he was the only person I was interviewing that impressed my teenage son. So then he insisted we take a picture together, which I never would have asked for. But I didn't mind

I have moments like this as well. For me, it feels like the biggest challenge getting smaller indie news reporters and organizations on the radar of the legacy press, including TV and radio. Some guy who used to work at CNN or the Washington Post isn't what I would consider "indie press"

The weirdest thing about that album was the best song - "Rock & Roll Dreams Come Through" - wasn't on the album itself, but on a 45 that came with the album. And I can't hear any of his post Meatloaf songs without thinking they were basically written for his voice (even the Air Supply hit)

“Hello neighbors! A friendly question for y'all with excessively spooky Halloween decorations- are you aware that this holiday is mostly celebrated by young children seeking candy? can we perhaps agree to treat the decorations like your genitals. Would it be ok if they were seen by another willing adult but not by a small kid who simply has to pass by your house to get to school 2x/day? If yes, those are decorations to enjoy inside!
