Man I really wanted Wright to win in 2006, but Howard was always going to be a tough one to beat. (I personally love the HR Derby, it's one of my favorite parts of the baseball season)

Some of the angst I get - it's a lot of players we've grown to love going away in a (very) short period of time. That's jarring. But this is clearly become a reset, and Stearns has proven himself quite good at building baseball teams. I'm willing to see what he cooks up.

I've been preaching "can't judge the offseason until it's over" and I guess I predict that the offseason is far from over. 👀
