Safety first. Safety always. FAA info.
People are struggling right now. Some without work, some working without pay. As we hit day 30 of the government shutdown it's important to note what benefits may be dried up come Nov 1. If at all possible, even if it's just a can of peas or an hr of your time, give to your local community.

I approve this message
Delays, cancellations, & long lines.

The GOP shutdown is impacting our airports and leaving air traffic controllers & TSA agents without pay, including at Boston Logan.

Republicans need to reopen the government, pay federal workers, keep our airports running & skies safe.
US flight delays near 7,000 as government shutdown hits Day 27
U.S. air travel turmoil deepened as nearly 7,000 flights were delayed nationwide on Monday, with air traffic controller absences surging as the federal government shutdown reached its 27th day.

Gentle reminder that 60,000 TSA employees are currently working without pay.

Please know that we love, thank, and support you all during this ridiculous and dark time.

And I certainly hope that 60,000 of you vote appropriately in the next elections - presuming we still have them, of course.

Long time FAA contractor here. This is your reminder that while Secretary Pete was in office, the FAA controlled over 40 million scheduled airline flights with a grand total of 0 accidents. (The FAA does not control most small aircraft flying between airfields with no control tower).

Qualified? Letting Sean Duffy run the FAA is the equivalent of letting an orangatun run a nuclear power plant. 🦧☢️ #FAA

Remember to be kind to your local feds and contractors. If you are travelling please be patient with TSA and be kind and listen to all instructions given by flight attendants.

We’re peacefully protesting for our neighbors. What does ICE do?

Pick us up and throw us on the ground. No arrest, no identification, no process.

Yeah, not a fan
!?!WTF!?!
Space exploration has always been inherently dangerous. Trying to manage that danger is truly “mission critical”.
Does Duffy think people are expendable?
And does this philosophy include FAA operations, too?
Rail and highway safety?
He is unfit.

Yes, it is very concerning.
good to know that if our clever boy imposes federal control on DC, it’s now legal to just send in some drones
The FAA will now let commercial drones fly beyond the operator’s line of sight.

The move will "unleash American drone dominance," Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said.

As a result, Duffy said, " You may get a Starbucks cup of coffee from a drone."

He has reportedly been denied access to an attorney and his family has not been given a reason for his detention.

How are we all feeling about flying?

Almost like actions have consequences. In this case, the cost of those consequences are human lives.
They gutted and neglected the FAA and the planes started crashing.

They defunded the NIH and the CDC and Measles came back from extinction.

They dismantled the weather service, NOAA, and FEMA and a flood killed 250+ people.
