For nearly 2 decades a relatively minor cost to the majority has substantially improved the lives of millions.
It let them get health care they couldn't otherwise afford. It meant they were less ill, less sick.
It meant they could participate in the economy.
That is now gone.

if someone is willing to pay for the products, i'd be willing to purchase these items, deconstruct them, and give them to expert tailors, shoemakers, and craftspeople for review. i will also see if i can track down the factories. i would be interested to know if these items are made in the US

While I'm all for ensuring that folks get paid, agreeing to this would only serve to weaken the Dems position.
This doesn't mean that there aren't accounts out there doing good things, there are..
But it does mean that they are setting different standards and goals.
If you want to crowd source science, do it.
