And what kills me is that I intentionally phrase shit in the most palatable way for non-Black people to swallow it easy from me bc I’m lightskinned and polite, and it’s STILL objectionable to them - I just ain’t getting the same harassment for it as someone darker would get for saying the same shit.

Can be like “see I’m down with The Blacks” while not actually listening to anything I say or helping tell my stories. If they do see it, they’ll often like it but not comment or share, letting it look like they support me but leaving stuff to die off without showing their followers it at all.

On here has the effect of getting me followers bc people want to learn/“do the right thing”(not be racist), but then they mute me bc they get tired of hearing about it, leading me to have much lower engagement than whites with my follower count bc following me almost becomes virtue signaling. They-

If I had just stuck to being hot and making hornyposts on here I’d be much more popular. If I had done that with rare breaks to talk serious it would’ve been received better. But talking abt it *too* much-

I've been trying to find the right words for a YouTube specific trend I've noticed that probably plays into this. "Who gets to be goofy?" Cause of the ratio of silly dumb white guys versus BIPOC and queer women who seem to only talk about serious topics. Like mandatory activism to get any views

Not only do TBIPOC suffer the effects of poverty more/worse, but the BIPOC Attention Tax makes CF/MA much harder as well.
