For those supporting this obscene violation of due process and expansion of governmental overreach to detain and deport legal residents without due process, please research authoritarian regimes.

Today they'll use it against a group you don't like, but it will be turned on you tomorrow.

Why would Noem need to run campaign commercials for a term-limited presi--

Oh.
This has been reported. So I'm not breaking any news. But it's amazing: Kristi Noem is literally running campaign commercials for Trump using the DHS budget. I knew this was happening from news reports. But I hadn't seen them until I saw them yesterday on the local ABC affiliate at the gym.

None of this has anything to do with effectiveness, or “lethality,” or promoting “warfighters," or any other buzzwords. It is praetorianism, plain and simple, and it is an assault on our military and our democracy.

New in PN: AOC shows how to fight back and stand strong

"Prominent figures standing up can undermine the climate of fear that MAGA relies on to impose terror. AOC’s work on behalf of her constituents and refusal to be intimidated are models of resistance other Democrats would do well to imitate."

With social media, word will spread to neighboring districts—even red ones.

At Cabaret yesterday, Cliff said his line “…if you’re not against all this then you’re for it. Or you might as well be”. The audience interrupted the scene to applaud that line so strongly it stopped the show. Doing a show about the onset of fascism right now is. . . chilling.
