NHS hospital productivity has started to rebound.

Hospital activity across a range of measures has increased substantially this year. For some measures, 2024 is the first year with activity levels higher than 2019.

Remarkable how people treat election victories as if they amount to the settlement of a political argument on the merits. Particularly marked in the case of net zero, as if the planet is just going to shrug and say, "well, that's that then, I'm going to stop getting hotter".
