Yesterday I went berry picking. I spent 90 minutes out there but it seriously felt like 20. I didn’t even take AirPods with me - it was just me and the blackberries. The scratches were totally worth it because they taste so much better than store bought.

Such an important message. What he says about a broken economic system that relies on unsustainable growth is spot on. Capitalism is like a giant pyramid scheme, always needing more consumption to fuel growth, and those always collapse.

I have had to say goodbye to my elementary school library. The good news: I have a *fantastic* new role and I’m extremely excited. Also, I’m leaving the library with a significant grant for books so it will be physically resourced. (1)
