went to north myrtle beach this weekend to see Zakk Wylde. He was everything I thought he would be (heavy, insane solos, owned the stage) but crowd was kind of awful. bunch of heavily intoxicated men acting like absolute jerks.

I remember my dad taking me to tower records the day the division bell was released. there was excitement in the store that I was in awe of. He immediately went into his car (late 80’s toranado) and listened to the first side as we just drove the streets of Philly.

Motörhead/Better Motörhead Than Dead
Another live album! Saw Motörhead for the first (only) time on this tour, the 30th anniversary. Went solo, and was blown away. raw power, intensity, and presence always stuck with me, as did the memory of being deaf for hours.
