Everybody is making Dershowitz jokes because he's the easier target, but Dana Loesch's entire career has been genuinely psychotic declarations of moral war and mentioning her as squad goals is super fucked up

Any time corporate executives are in a room together and don't know they're being recorded, the transcript is like: "Christ, I hate our customers. We're agreed that we all hate our customers? Let's lie to the IRS, criminally. Did I mention the Holocaust never happened? Put more lead in our soda."

In 2022 @mightygodking.com and I visited the Ōamaru Blue Penguin Colony on the east coast of New Zealand's South Island to witness dozens of kororā coming home to their families after a day's fishing in the Pacific. It was, in every respect, the absolute best. Happy Birthday to little Lazzie!
Cool Penguin Facts

1. There's a version of them that's little. And blue. 💙. Shockingly, they are called Little Blue Penguins. Also sometimes, fairy penguins.

2. The oldest one is 25 years. Old. This is her.

3. Her name is Lazzie and it's her birthday.

I think if Michael Porter Jr. wants to prove himself against WNBA players he should know there is no rule in the WNBA against kicking players in the dick
Angel McCoughtry goes off on Michael Porter Jr.

She says NBA players load-manage for headaches, while WNBA players deserve credit for being able to drop 40 on their period, come back to play after pregnancy, and still hoop while having a husband and kids at home.

i'm going to sound sarcastic here but genuinely one of the most interesting aspects of LLMs is that they are proving that evil is real, by which i mean if you train them to do one bad thing they start doing other bad things that you have not trained them to do

My current desktop setup is seven years old. My phone is four years old. Would I *like* to get a new computer and phone? Of course. Do I *need* them? Not until something dies. Or when the extension on Microsoft supporting Windows 10 ends.

straight up amazing that some minis company just decided to make 80s Cartoons With The Serial Numbers Sanded Off: The Miniatures Game

like, there are several Transformers factions, one faction that's obviously M.A.S.K., another that's Dino-Riders, a Robotech, a GI Joe, etc

Anybody who knows me knows I've long advocated that leaving DINO-RIDERS in IP Neverland is leaving gold in the ground
Random cool trivia; there was a very short lived toyline about futuristic soldiers arming dinosaurs with high tech weaponry and using them as vehicles.

Among other cool aspects of this; the dinosaurs are VERY detailed, and look pretty great.

the economic success of the U.S. is significantly built on the land grant universities and in particular their excellent agricultural science tradition.
Really important to stress that the Crown Jewels of the US higher education system were never the Ivies or elite SLACs (other countries have equivalents of these) but the well-funded, large, cheap, and excellently staffed public state university systems bringing high quality education to the masses.
One of the bragging rights that the US ed system had in the 20th century is that we didn't have education tracks. Essentially, any kid could go to a CC or state school & major in whatever they wanted to (obviously an oversimplification). I fear this aspect of the American dream is dying.
