I was able to try story mode in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 at a relative's house over the holidays & was pleasantly surprised to find that the combat was... manageable.
I am still Bad At Dodge (And Parry) but this mode is forgiving enough that I can muddle through and enjoy the story.

Got the three cards I wanted on the anniversary multi -- Rafayel, Sylus, and Xavier. So far I've only watched/read Rafayel's and it was darker than I expected. I like that he and MC will always choose each other, even when they are in difficult circumstances. (Trying to be vague, here)
