Kagi getting a reputation for having "no AI" is absolutely incredible to me, the company that started as Kagi.AI and rewrites news articles (incorrectly!) with AI and has 5000 other AI tools and their own AI benchmark system somehow has people thinking they are AI free

Sick of the idea that pointing out full on grifters and predators trying to take advantage of activists is hurting the cause, these guys were never HELPING the cause, y'all were doing all the actual work in the first place, they just threw up half assed websites and got press releases in the paper

The people who go "what's the harm in trying??" don't remember October Strike and how many people came away from that thinking all political action was pointless
is anyone else only now learning about a theoretical general strike being called for tomorrow with seemingly 2 days of planning, which leads you to worry that if it doesn't pop off it'll be used by the doompilled masses afterwards as evidence that nothing is worth trying

I just confirmed that I was able to submit a very, very obviously fake org and they added it. They didn't email me, they didn't ask a single question, and it's a manual process.
I think the problem here is that you can "endorse on behalf of an organization," so you can just put whatever, and half the people are putting big prestigious orgs/unions/etc on it and the other half are just shitposts like Sussy Baka Fundraising
