Artist, murals n stickers n zines. Sickly queer. Masking for public health and safety. Too radicalized to have any chill.

It's so fascinating to arrive in the future and discover that no amount of dystopian scifi could act as a deterrent. It can be so insightful and horrifying, and still we've read and watched it for decades and wound up as the Arthur meme

My A.I. art -detecting skills are really being put to use in the Ink Master subreddit lately

Watched Taxi Driver for the first time, then looked up Jodie Foster's experience on set. I feel compelled to reiterate my most too-woke-take-that-other-people-think-is-nuts: professional child acting should be fucking illegal, and the 70s were hell.

Catching up on Elsbeth, and finding myself so grateful I'm married to a woman because William Jackson Harper as a horrible poetry journal editor is a man I would have once let ruin my life.

Every now and then I remember that this photoshoot happened and I thank my dad's Vanity Fair subscription for making me gay

Don't give NYT rageclicks. Assume the content is as bad as the headline, and don't give their website traffic or engagement.

This really comes across as an attempt to further normalize discussing exploited kids as predatory hustlers.

Don't give them clicks.

The First Omen. Gorgeous horror channeling deep & real fear of the body, how we send you into pregnancy with so little forewarning that you don't know which agonies are normal, how women are used as necessary-but-spiritually-inert tools to an end.

A legacy prequel had no right to be this brilliant

I just ragequit another pod ep for saying there's zero political about Hills Have Eyes (2006) (it's confused, but deliberately very political lol), and one guy was like "I like the original bc there was no explanation, they were just a random family of psychos like in Texas Chain Saw Massacre"

You know what's amazing? Today is the 14th anniversary of this tweet. Immaculate timing.

Me when a podcast ranks Crash (1996) as a top 7 Erotic HORROR film of all time.

My boy David's whole filmography of horny horror is right there, and you choose one of the few not-remotely-horror options??

It is the best Canadian movie ever made, my favourite Cronenberg, but STILL

Two murals I finished last week-- if I could just do murals in Toronto forever as my whole job I would be in heaven.

Featuring: some of the goofiest medieval animals I could find.

If I crashed on a desert island, I wouldn't be in any kind of a leadership role... unless it was the Lost island, because day two I'm staging a coup against this killer cop nightmare.

Just a reminder that the CDC's guidance during the Biden admin was largely based on economic factors and not to do with Covid changing.

They changed the isolation from 10 to 5 days because airlines demanded it, despite knowing that you are still contagious after 5 days, and everyone bought it.

I love making these medieval stickers so freaking much.

Inspired by true events (my dog eating something in the alley the other night and my fingers desperately trying to scoop it out the back of his throat before he could swallow. I was not victorious.)

Challenging myself to do work that doesn't come naturally this Inktober, so I'm fully studying Mike Mignola (greatest living illustrator) to prep-- omnibuses full of post-it flags, taking notes.

Surprise surprise, it's wildly hard to draw even remotely like a genius who's been doing this for 45yrs.

It turns out I CAN still read, and I'm 80 pages into Youngmi Mayer's memoir and it's so profound and moving that I'm starting to underline passages.

Like goddamn, what a combo of goofy and devastating.

This is a neat thread!

HUMAN artists, use only one #art piece to convince people to follow you.

Requote with your most popular artwork of 2025!

My medieval stickers have been the belle of the shop this year (the MOST popular one went up end of Dec 2024, but this one has really gained some funny traction in the couple of months it's been available).

It seems that 30 years ago, I drew this very romantic Aladdin-themed(?) fan note for PJ Fresh Phil (which my mother apparently did not give him despite doing YTV photoshoots. Rude.)

This drawing kinda fucking rips for little 7 year old Beck!

Every autistic with chronic illness should print a copy of the Mankoski pain scale-- it has v specific descriptions for what each number means instead of vibes-based answers. You WILL discover that you massively underrate your pain to doctors.

(I have not yet read the article, just wanted to share)

Here I was thinking I would finally get to have a conversation with someone since I never got so much as a form letter back from my emails to Marit Stiles. Great work, NDP.

I guess this was a polling text and not a canvassing text 👎👎

Classy work-in-progress. 10x10" acrylic on canvas.

"I'm glad you came! I didn't know if you would. I spoke to my PR woman and she said Madeleine Ashton goes to the opening of an envelope. Oh, those people can be so cruel!"
