AR6 had ~9000 pages, DOE report ~140.
AR6 had ~50,000 references cited, the DOE report had ~350.

This tells you something about how comprehensive they are and how diverse the input used was.

I've asked ChatGPT to compare the most recent reports from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) with the recent DOE report on climate in terms of numbers of authors, pages, and citations. Here is the result: IPCC's 6th Assessment Report (AR6) had 721 authors. DOE report had 5.
