ICE isn't just tearing families apart--they're also extorting them.

According to the article, the pastor's family is being charged $50 for each 20-minute phone call he makes from detention. And it would likely cost them at least $10,000 for a release on bond.

The press were just doing their job -- a sacred one explicitly protected by law.

The media is too quick to use Republican buzzwords - “politically correct,” “DEI,” “critical race theory” - these all mean the same thing and @karenattiah.bsky.social is right. Be clearer with your questioning.u
I actually wish the media would stop using "DEI" and "diversity hiring" and just get to the essence of the thing and ask:

"Are you saying that this crash was caused by desegregating the races?"

And see what happens.
REPORTER: Are you saying this crash was somehow was the result of diversity hiring?
