Good news, I guess, but “one unit of power” offends my physics and math sensibilities.

They never define what this is, or clarify if they actually mean energy. It’s never compared to anything that would give it context. The number is arbitrary.

They later replied apologizing for the "inappropriate" greeting.

I'm not sure if I think it was A.I. or a classic case of a student being drunk, but whatever the reason for it, I took it as a compliment.
