My newsletter will have that domain too once I can summon the brain power to sort it out.

Vladimir Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov is clearly David Moyes in a terrible disguise

Just been. Now listening to you and @itsdanthomas.bsky.social doing GoldenEye on @smershpod.com.

A couple of years on yet still no sign of a Bond film pausing to hear from a ghost who’d been fucked to death. Hopefully Prime right this wrong.

It's 10 years today since Jürgen Klopp became manager of Liverpool.

Following his resignation I considered writing a book about his tenure. I didn't get far but did complete the first chapter, the first half of which I'm sharing to mark the anniversary: www.andrewbeasleyfootball.com/p/jurgen-klo...

Klopp inherited a team that had recently been beaten 3-0 at Anfield by West Ham. Little wonder the believers of 2014 had become doubters... 3,693 days after that loss, things are rather better for the Reds: www.andrewbeasleyfootball.com/p/jurgen-klo...

Because the issue is dickhead owners, not the dogs.
Always was.

Oh yeah, this isn’t to say they’re playing well, just that they’ve had similar results.

If anything undermines it, I’d say a bigger factor than matches to lose twice or goals conceded is that two of the corresponding fixtures were dead rubbers. They’re down a point on their ‘competitive’ fixtures.

It’s brilliant from episode one. Ignore those people!
andrewbeasleyfootball.com
I thought they would win it ahead of last season, definitely good enough.
andrewbeasleyfootball.com
Maybe. The xG suggests they've created enough in the last three games. The defending is the greater concern to me. Even then, it's individual errors at the heart of much of it - not easy to eradicate if players are low on confidence. Hopefully when the easier fixtures come things will improve.

Arsenal have had more games against the bottom half so their ppg there carries more weight. They've had three home games against the bottom six, a massive advantage.
andrewbeasleyfootball.com
Liverpool have the best points-per-game record against the top half of the Premier League table this season.

They also have two wins from two games against the bottom half.
andrewbeasleyfootball.com
I have to dock it a point for roughly half of the score but then I more than add it back for the joy the N64 game gave me.

That’s fantastic.

Ah, the Craig era. Wildly popular to the wider world while disappointing fans time after time.

Hope to see Goldeneye on the big screen (for the first time) this week. Now there’s a Bond film!

Arne Slot did a phenomenal job last season, coming into a challenging situation & replacing a legend. He made it look easy. But y'know what? He's still a fairly young guy himself. And he'll not have been in any way prepared for what he's had to deal with the last few months. Not least his own grief.
