Watching Chandler Levack's I Like Movies (2022) and I don't think it's mistake that the lead character, Lawrence (Isaiah Lehtinen), has been styled to look like Ignatius J. Reilly.

Just realised that the first line of Sebadoh’s Flame is *not “I don’t want to be the one who writes Flame” and that it’s not a self-reflexive song about not wanting to write a hit song for Sebadoh called Flame. It’s still great but it’s no longer the song I thought it was.

I’ve been watching the new Monster: The Ed Gein Story series on Netflix, mostly because I was intrigued by hearing that it traced Gein’s influence on popular horror culture, and how it deals with fictionalizing events is interesting - and to my mind raises difficult questions. SPOILERS AHEAD
