Ah yes, the “Union” — where Scotland generously donates almost all the oil, gas, water, fish, and power… and London, in its infinite generosity, lets us keep the crumbs. Truly, what would we do without them?

Exactly this!
And politicians are taken aback that we are VERY ANGRY!
The differential between the richest and the poorest in this country is HUGE- and politicians, living in their privileged bubble can’t even see it!
A country in the top 10 of wealth has the highest pension age and the lowest pension in Europe. More foodbanks than McDonald’s and ignore corporate theft. We are being fucked over a barrel by the rich.

🏥 Hospitals built with PFI were found to be 70% more expensive than public builds.

Private partnerships were costly and ineffective last time — saddling the NHS with decades of debt.

So why bring them back… and who really benefits? 👀

Eliminate privatisation of profit. Use it to fund infrastructure. Nationalise.

Although you'd be forgiven for having missed it - yesterday's budget confirmed it: private partnerships are back to fund NHS projects.🚨

So who DID ask for PFI to come back? While 69 NHS trusts still owe £21bn on old PFI contracts?

Yet again, Labour are just letting Farage talk about immigration as being a significant problem when it isn't. Billionaires and the rich not paying their fair share of tax is the problem.

Streeting will tell anyone who asks that he's not privatising the NHS (he clearly is), that 'donations' (or bribes) have no influence on policy (they clearly do).

Private 'healthcare' is a huge driver of profit & misery in the U.S. - these companies don't pay politicians for nothing...

Wes Streeting branded the doctors BMA a cartel, while getting a lot richer via real cartels ...

"A quick but helpful chart breaking down who owns Wes Streeting. Unsurprisingly a large amount appears to be owned by private health companies."

Today was Palestinian Independence Day.

As Trump and Netanyahu’s disastrous postwar plans become clear, the U.S. must recognize and respect Palestinian statehood — as 81% of the world already does.

Agency and dignity are the only ways we can achieve lasting peace.

💷 PFI buried the NHS in billions of debt 💸

Now it’s being rebranded + repackaged as a “new solution.”
But let’s not be fooled — a bad deal with a new name is still a bad deal.

For two years, three key tasks:

•Build the largest left movement ever to form a new political party with inclusion at its heart
•Hold a huge founding conference to formalise
•Register a new left political party and membership

UK median wage for an employee is £30,816.

A single person needs to earn £30,500 a year to reach a minimum acceptable standard of living.

A couple with 2 children needs £74,000 a year between them.

If the government wants economic growth it must bring essential industries into public ownership
Successive governments clobber households and small businesses by hiking interest rates to manage inflation, but don’t inconvenience corporations.
