I ultimately can’t be too mad about this loss. This Bears team honestly may benefit by this humbling after that magical Packers win. Letting “Team of Destiny” shit go to their head was a realistic concern. They lose, but they know they can beat the very best, just gotta have more from the defense.

Another thing: Would be a great opportunity to get your backups game action. We saw what happens when Hanie was pressed into action all those years ago. He had a meme mustache and was barely ready to take the field.
I’m fine resting key starters next week. Bears will have a home playoff game more than likely and it’s not worth losing to a crestfallen Lions team with your A Squad going into the playoffs.
The Bears cannot get the 1 seed. A win or Eagles loss in Week 18 clinches the 2 seed for them.

Another thing: Would be a great opportunity to get your backups game action. We saw what happens when Hanie was pressed into action all those years ago. He had a meme mustache and was barely ready to take the field.
Caleb’s hesitation right before the weak throw to the end zone was the coffin nail. He needs to learn to trust his first instinct and let it go.

This is a #hottake, but...
The difference between the 2 and 3 seed isn't as significant anymore since there's only 1 team that gets a bye. IDK if Ben does this against his former team, but I'm not opposed to guys resting/treating next week like preseason. Playoffs matter way more.

This here. Defense was cracked on the nose tonight and deserve to be dressed down.
Damn that sucked, but you can’t expect to win any game when you give up 40 points and over 500 yards of offense.
