Fitting tribute to the great Brian Hayes a magnificent broadcaster who informed and entertained me for many years. RIP.
Deeply sad to hear that the brilliant, legendary Brian Hayes has died at the age of 87. His contribution to British radio knew no bounds. While he didn't create the @lbc.co.uk phone-in, he perfected it after moving over from Capital Radio in the early days of ILR.....

Ah Billy Bonds, saw him once in Allders Croydon looking at a model railway. Had a bit of a crush as we used to say. RIP Hammers legend.

Glorious, cathartic, taking no shit at all, Stewart Lee.

Brexit: “like someone stepping round a massive pile of dogshit on the living room carpet. Every day. For nine years.”

If only all our media could be as ruthlessly challenging as this.

I bought 2 fucking pillowcases. What more do you want from me?

My inbox is full of this automated bollocks.

Contact fatigue is real.

I sometimes miss creative marketing and research. Even the odd dm would be nice.

Do better.

Of course there are many wonderous writings from the great man but my memory goes to enjoying The Real Inspector Hound at Sutton Theatre, production was genius and so much fun.
RIP Tom Stoppard.

The British press poses a genuine and profound threat to our democracy and our shared prosperity. They howl out their right wing, wealth-protecting agenda and want Farage as PM. We will all pay a very high price for their selfish greed and their utter indifference to social inequality.

A question on Nextdoor, light relief from moaning about new housing developments, missing parcels and 'what are those young people up to?' Anyone know someone to clean two chandeliers? You all know the answers coming in ...

I'd wager this is evidence that the furore over 'migration' isn't about migration but the presence of dark-skinned people in the UK... And yes, this was evident in the more sinister corners of the Brexit campaigns.
