What’s happening in Tennessee is going to blow Trump’s mind. Like Mamdani, Aftyn Behn is laser focused on affordability and dismantling the oligarchy. People around the country, even in districts gerrymandered into the red, have had enough of subsidizing the lifestyles of billionaires.

History may not repeat but it certainly rhymes. Trump is today calling for the death of his political opponents, for the crime of stating the law. This is the latest of his attacks on the Constitution and the rule of law. The historical resonance?

Ukraine strong and Union strong. This is the spirit we need more of today—fighting for labor, fighting for immigrants, fighting against oligarchy.

It comes as no surprise that Trump, who loves to pardon sexual predators and billionaire grifters, would excuse the murderous crimes of a billionaire gangster like Mohammed bin Salman. But we do have a right to know what, exactly, our elected officials are condoning and abetting.
Yesterday, Trump defended the Saudi Crown Prince in the Oval Office.

He said he had “nothing” to do with the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.

But I reviewed a call while serving on Trump’s NSC that I believe would be of interest to the Khashoggi family and the American people.

Release the transcript.

One reason Piggygate feels different is that there’s absolutely no political benefit for Trump in using that particular language; it’s just unbridled playground-level cruelty, for no reason at all. And that’s who Trump reveals himself to be—a disgusting, spiteful, unredeemed id-driven toddler.
