Did u know? If you extend your no-mow into June & beyond, you may find your lawns hold incredible secrets. I only found out I have Common Spotted Orchids in mine when I let the grass grow. So, not only are my no-mow meadows a habitat for small souls, they're a habitat for leafy wonders. #nomow 🌱🌿🇬🇧🌱🌍

Rewilding can be rather simple, it doesn't need project groups, we just need to relax our control issues.2 years ago this was a pig field, now it's natural succession in progress, alive with bird song &abuzz with insects.

As a tree planter, seeing trees choking in plastic tubes is one of my pet hates 😞

This plastic litters the countryside & why is it never removed when trees are established?

Thank you to to this amazing group of volunteers #Recycle #Reuse #Veganic #Vegan #Community in #Action
Over the last year the VLM has met some incredibly driven people who are working flat out to help save species & nature🥰

A team of volunteers have just freed 500 trees being choked in these plastic tubes. The VLM will use these for new saplings next winter 🔥 #VeganCommunity

BREAKING NEWS📢🧵

Last weekend the VLM planted a future wet woodland on 11.2 acres removed from dairy farming in 2024. This will now be an oasis for many species to flourish & find sanctuary, where no animals can be exploited, farmed or shot. We made a real difference 🌱🦡

It’s gone public… beavers are back in the Somerset Levels, specifically in the Avalon Marshes area - spreading naturally from other populations. Woohoo! We look forward to them spreading throughout the Levels, and they will always be welcome if they turn up on our sites. Somersetwildlands.org

1 sq foot would cost around £2.50. Could you buy even 1 for us, to help secure their future? Or share our appeal? 🙏
