“Countless children have died of malnutrition. Tens of thousands more face lifelong impacts — to their physical and cognitive development,” our Sam Rose tells to @aljazeera.com.

More aid is welcome — but not enough. It must be sustained and matched with a ceasefire to stabilize life in Gaza.

I work for Scottish Book Trust and we’re running a survey for parents/teachers/kids book enthusiasts about how they find books for kids. I’d be enormously grateful if anyone can spare 5-10 mins to share their thoughts. #KidLitUK

Between now and Christmas I’ll try to recommend as many great children’s books as I can. Books make a great present but it can be hard to find the right book, especially if you’re looking for something a bit different.
Would you like a recommendation? Ask away!

The Irish government is asking people to take a survey on climate change action. If you live in Ireland, this affects you. Please take the survey. It's pretty detailed, but it'll be time well spent.

Reposting as the Bluesky app does not like the bigger images (or its the .png format) on the android app.

Is it too early in my career to be recycling jokes?

Is it offensive to compare writers and illustrators to cows? 😀

Anyway, read more Irish Kid’s Books. They are ace.
