I kind of feel like the British "gender criticals are simply financed by the US right" is equivalent to the US "MAGA is simply financed by Russia"

Sometimes you need to take responsibility for your own culture's mess, guys

>Criticize how feminism (both "good" and "bad") has harmed trans women by unscientifically upholding the "blank slate / dysphoria is social" narrative

>Trans women offended by my non-reverence to feminism try to portray me as pro-conversion-therapy based on wacky bad-faith leaps and guilt by assoc.
I think it's a dishonest reading of Haruru's post, and in any case not what my reply was about.

This.
Sadly our activism was taken over/coopted by cissexuals who think they have smth meaningful to say abt us

Feminists (both radfems/terfs, and queer/woke/mainstream) have long pushed (and continue pushing) the blank-slate hypothesis.

Not because of "evidence" of course, but because claiming otherwise would contradict some of the most fundamental and unquestionable dogmas of feminism.

>you don't need HRT to transition

This is borderline malicious advice.
Good luck retaining any resemblance of femininity past your 20s, as your face and body get further masculinized by testosterone.

This is just the woke version of TERFs' "teehee just wear dresses! boys can be feminine!"
December 1, 2025 at 1:18 AM
Theyfabs truly cannot grasp the idea that dysphoria exists.
To them, everything is about social constructs

>teehee no one would want FFS or HRT in my utopian queerfeminist society.
>you're only allowed to want FFS for the purpose of feeling physically safer

The web's lesson isn't "we need better rules". It's "we need protocols that enforce their own properties".

Code is the enforcement mechanism.
Regulation is the capture mechanism.

Never forget that states' interest in tech stacks do not align with yours and states closer to you are typically a greater threat than distant ones
Not a fan so far of "sovereign" displacing "open" in all things AI/tech in the EU.

Focusing on HRT access, DIY, and material conditions rather than validity and inclusivity is paramount imo, we need to make being trans *mean* something again

What’s transmisogynistic is the “crab bucket” internalized transphobia mentality that leads some to try to tear down any trans woman with even an iota of success in a way that would never be directed at cis people
if you declare that discussing aggression from trans women is automatically verboten, you're going to have a platform overrun by trans women who feel entitled to use aggression against other people (including other trans women) at any time

idk if baeddel is gonna stick but trans women have very specific social/biological forces acting on us

and frankly the trans movement has been hijacked by cissexual women trying on labels like bad hair dye

We need a separate baeddel movement or we need to just on from the rest of the 🌈
It does but seriously how?

Honestly id start with splitting trans men and trans women. We don’t say ‘homosexuals’ anymore, we say gay and lesbian bc they’re different things with separate (if you’re cis lol) experiences.

Conflating trans men and trans women is a disaster.

Another issue that happens that doesn’t get talked about is that transsexuals with dysphoria end up in places like /tttt/ and similar spaces because they are routinely pushed out and abandoned by mainstream trans spaces
There's also a lot of frustration with the trans community's ineffectiveness at advocating for itself and leaving transsexuals/dysphorics behind but I guess finding ways to fashjacket transsexuals and dysphorics has been going on since the dawn of time

Crazy how AGAB language was being mainstreamed in the 2010s as a "non-problematic" alternative to MtF/FtM.

At least MtF/FtM imply change, while AGAB only acknowledges the starting point.

Search "amabs" on here then try reading out the results while replacing the acronym with the full "Assigned Male At Births"

Doing so makes it extremely obvious that folks are just using it as a progressive way to call trans women males.

Probably feels emboldened because the mainstream normie LGBTQ/trans orgs somewhat promote that narrative, especially in their "respectable" public messaging.

The actual experiences of trans women don't matter.
All that matters is not rocking the boat with the validity theorists and queer academia.
