After a final with orchestra with performances of works by Weber and Richard Strauss we awarded 1st prize to Andrea Mancini, 2nd prize to Antoine Jeannot, and 3rd prize to Daniel Loipold. I look forward to discovering how all the contestants develop in the coming years!

We heard a large number of horn players from around the globe and it was heart warming to hear these young musicians sharing their work with us.

I was delighted that the author compared "La maison des locataires" to the work of the French author Georges Perec as the image brought his "Life: A User's Manual" to mind.
