A final bit of "Monday Mozart" - here's some of the last movement of Mozart's Concerto in E flat for horn (K447) from my performance with @IrishBaroque Orchestra (dir. @PeterWhelanPP) last October in Kilkenny.

I shared this a couple of years ago when we were rehearsing for the concert but in light of the release of the live recording of the Solomon's Knot "Bach's Horns" disc I thought it worth sharing again! My colleague Anna Drysdale and myself in full flow!

Another horn from the magnificent @rcsofficial.bsky.social collection. Again, a Scottish inspired choice of music (a bit from the slow movement of Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 3 "Scottish" - and there is a reason to play it on an early valve horn!).
