It is my all-time favourite too!
The script is even more poignant today as greed has taken over the US & the UK. Pottersville has been chosen ahead of Bedford Falls in real life much to the detriment of society! I would prefer to live in Bedford Falls every time…
Is this one of the greatest scenes in movie history?

I think so — that’s why “It’s a Wonderful Life” is my all-time favorite.

Definitely thought we’d reverted back to previous seasons and dropped points due to lack of concentration and commitment!! However, this result is the type of win that champions manage to achieve.
F/T: 2-1 Arsenal.

Three crucial points, now let's never talk about this game again.

My family arrived in the UK by small boats

Some economic migrants escaping poverty & famine
Some came to invade
Some forced

From Ireland, France (Normans), Italy (Romans) & Norway (Vikings)

Wherever you come from doesn’t matter to me, caring for whoever is my neighbour does

What a warm, beautiful person she was. I agree entirely with the spaceship passenger manifest. We have lost a wise and highly intelligent human being whose impact is immeasurable!

To amend the old Russian joke, North Korea and the U.K. are exactly the same: in the U.K., you can criticise the British Prime Minister and in North Korea, you can also criticise the British Prime Minister.
not sure you’d be allowed to write this in North Korea, lads

It's not asylum seekers who jack up rents, undermine the NHS, hold down wages and keep people insecure.
It's capital.
The role of the far right is to shift the blame for decades of economic attacks by the rich and powerful onto powerless people who have only just arrived here.

Like the Greens, Labour want to build Neighbourhood Health Centres.

Unlike the Greens, Labour’s version would not be community-owned NHS assets, but hedge fund & private equity owned investment “opportunities”.

Another HUGE example of the success of trickle down economics!!
Housing benefit is paying the rich to get richer and we, the common tax payers, are their funders. What utter STUPIDITY!!

Feargal Sharkey shows politicians, in an articulate & passionate style, how to right Mrs Thatcher’s wrongs.
Privatisation of water was sold in the 80s as our saviour for investment in the water infrastructure. What a lie!! In fact it shows the true cost of trickle down economics…
Left: Steve Reed, "Nationalising water companies would cost £100 billion, we'd have to take it from the NHS and Education, and it would take years of legal wrangling"

Right: Feargal Sharkey explains how to nationalise water companies without costing the taxpayer a penny

Please repost, if like me, you will never accept Brexit.

It harms the British people. It was obtained through foreign interference and by far the worst abuses of democracy in modern British history, and it robs us of freedom and citizenship.

What hypocrisy from the GOP. Health sec. Kennedy says the problem is that some American families need to eat healthier & his colleague encouraging the opposite. Far more intelligent individuals who lead by example & demonstrate joined up thinking is needed!

Exactly! It’s cheaper to feed your family junk food than healthy foods. I spend at least £50 per week on fruit & veg. Unfortunately most families won’t be able to do this as they have to prioritise and will go for the offers that are usually the sugar packed products!
