If evidence has been destroyed, juries are instructed that they can assume that evidence would have shown the defendant's guilt.
The Trump administration releasing only a portion of the Epstein files, and blacking out so much text in the files they did release, is clear evidence of Trump's guilt.

All of this 👇🏼
Labour have lost me and a good few card carrying labour people. I’ll also not be going back. I agree that they’ve done some good things but all overshadowed by their constant appeasement and blaming ‘migrants’. Could not be more disappointed with this govt.
A 🧵

Things to acknowledge about Labour.

- I won’t be voting for them again. I also don’t know yet who I’ll be voting for in the next GE.

- I will happily acknowledge that the Worker’s Rights Bill, the Breakfast Club programme, the VAWG work and quite a few other points are good work.

However.

The White House has been caught.

The administration inserted a photo of Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson, and Diana Ross into the Epstein files and falsely implied it showed them with victims.

In reality, it’s a publicly available fundraiser photo featuring Jackson and Ross’s own children.

Remember: The oligarchs who control our economy and democracy seek to divide us so they can become more powerful.

They want us to turn on each other so we don't look up and see where all the wealth and power have gone.

Don't fall for it.

The second instalment of my Sisyphean debunk of 75 supposed Brexit “Benefits” will be out later today.

Yesterday I looked at whether we got all the same trade deals for free when we toppled out of the single market, and more importantly, whether maintaining the status quo is actually a benefit.

Debunking Benefit 1: No, We Didn’t Get the Same Trade Deals "For Free"
When “we kept what we already had” becomes a triumph, you know the bar has been dug into the earth’s crust.

Oligarchy (noun):

A government of and by a few at the top, who exercise power for their own benefit. Their power and wealth increase as they make laws that favor themselves, manipulate financial markets, and create monopolies that put more wealth into their pockets.

1. I hate to see good people wasting their time and energy. And there’s perhaps no greater waste of time and energy than seeking to change the trajectory of the human population. It’s not just futile, but also a massive distraction from things we CAN change. This thread seeks to explain why. 🧵1/12

The recent NBER report suggests the Treasury’s 2016 analysis – slammed by Brexiters as a ‘hoax’– actually understated the impact of Brexit.

He should know. When he was in Government he took a five-figure donation from JCB, then stayed silent when it axed hundreds of his constituents' jobs just two weeks later

Senior Conservatives have repeatedly promoted a pothole repair machine made by a company which has donated huge sums to the party and its MPs

This is exactly what the recent Trump-BBC 'scandal' was designed to achieve. The BBC is now self-censoring criticisms of Trump in the name of "impartiality"
I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

Georgian language is beautiful too
მართლა „ბეჭდების მბრძანებელს“ ჰგავს? ღმერთო ჩემო, თითქმის ასეა.
Despite the fact the Georgia was conquered at various times by virtually every major empire in ancient history, the Georgian language and alphabet are unique and not a part of any other language family.

The soft pedaling language being used to describe the men in the Epstein files is enraging.

They didn’t “have sex with underage girls”.

They raped them.

Sex implies consent.

The survivors deserve better than this. Use the correct language. Say what these men did.
