Glad this is still getting attention because it was a genuinely insane move in a wide variety of ways, including that had these guys gotten their way it may have actually breached levees and led to floods across California farmland.

Somehow when I parodied giving Nazi salutes on last week's Have I Got News For You the audience had no trouble discerning my meaning.
At the end of his CPAC speech, Steve Bannon exclaimed “Fight! Fight! Fight!”, raised his arm in a brief Nazi salute gesture, brought his arm down, nodded his head at the crowd, and then said, “Amen!”
