Electrical engineer that loves science, nature, landscaping and stone masonry. I find great entertainment and inspiration from Star Wars, Lord of The Rings and the Wheel of Time books.
Wow what a great World Series!

I love baseball, especially extra innings game seven!

The best day of Trumps life was J6. He enjoyed watching people commit violence in his name, that is why he pardoned the worst offenders. Expect more violence before this is over.

One thing is certain about Americans that voted for him, they betrayed the sacrifices of all previous 🇺🇸 generations. 🤮

“I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.” Obi-Wan Kenobi

My first thoughts this morning were an echo of this except we will never be silent in the face of evil, thank you Bluesky for the freedom to communicate 💙💙💙

Listening to “Stand by me” by Ben E. King and remembering we are all much stronger together.

I am thankful for the entire Bluesky community during these difficult times 💙💙💙

Great quote and very wise advice. My personal experience confirms that simple solutions beat fancy solutions seven days a week and twice on Sunday.
“A good scientist is a person with original ideas. A good engineer is a person who makes a design that works with as few ideas as possible. There are no prima donnas in engineering.”

"Well, Grant, we've had the devil's own day today, haven't we?"

"Yes. Lick 'em tomorrow though."

- Grant and Sherman after the disaster of the first day of Shiloh, April 1862. They won the next.

Today is one of the bad days in American history. Better days will come.

After I heard about Bob Uecker passing I put on the movie Major League.

Very sad to hear of his passing but enjoying rewatching his acting with appreciation for a true American treasure.

RIP Mr. Baseball 💙💙💙

Today is a day of reflection for Americans. Our democracy was threatened on 1/6/2021 and clearly the response has not been adequate.

You can blame the Senate or the Judiciary branch or the voters but it is clear to me all failed to defend democracy.

Very upsetting for all patriots who love USA 😞

Trump wants to end income tax. Maybe we should end income tax and pay everyone a refund bonus that is equal to income. The next generation and the poor can just pay it back later with interest 🧐

After watching a documentary on Chernobyl I am even more convinced Ukraine needs our support now. Victims of multiple invasions during WWII and long occupation by USSR and still they agreed to hand over nuclear weapons for promises of border integrity from both USA and Russia. They deserve justice 🇺🇦

To see who they value, pay attention to their words. School massacres are labeled "mass shootings. Street executions are described as "officer-involved shootings." But the killing of a CEO is immediately called "terrorism."

School shootings are far more complicated than just gun laws but we can reduce the number of victims by restricting firepower. I say no semi-automatic weapons are needed for self defense only revolvers and bolt action rifles. Also we need red flag laws and mental health for intervention. 💙💙💙

GOP breaks all government programs and then celebrates and claps each other on the back while saying look we were right all along government does not work. It is disgraceful.
