I wouldn't actively advocate for murder. I just can't bring myself to be upset when a pro hit is carried out on a horrible person. On a totally unrelated note, I hope this starts a trend where those with serious criminal skill start using their powers for good instead of personal gain.

I feel like climate change can feel a bit mystical because the earth is, y’know, pretty complex as a system. But just tossing a, “CO2 is transparent to visible light but absorbs infrared light” in there just says “this isn’t that complex — climate deniers are denying /physics/…which is cringe.”

Listen, it's so bad that the tiktok psychic who landed on my FYP saying "today is the day we learn something big that will change everything" (paraphrased) keeps popping into my awareness. I know it's BS, but hope is a powerful drug.

Prepare for the worst but hope for the best. If you anticipate the worst as inevitable, that leads to despair. I can't stop thinking about the people who said they're ready to end it all bc they think we're sliding fast into a Nazi regime in America. It's a possibility but not inevitable.

Came within a hair of sending "Arousing!" in a Slack message to a colleague. GD migraine and autocorrect.

John Fetterman, American Jagoff
The former progressive darling has decided to become the world’s most antagonistic Israel stan. It’s a very bad look.

#LifeinCorporateAmerica is realizing the person who had all the knowledge and contacts to pull vital reporting to make big decisions was laid off last month.

Two days. It took 2 days posting on this app again to find the boring conservative who wobbly lobs a vicious "you're just an SJW" at me. I hope your red hat permanently adheres to your head. 👋

I didn't think I'd have a conversation with a coworker I haven't spoken to in two years about white supremacy and how the insidiousness of it is undermining our entire country today, but here we are.

As part of my ongoing growth, today's wisdom: in trying to argue less on the internet, I've found I can get the same satisfaction from making my point without emotional language and then adding a silent "dumbass" at the end. They can't see it, but people who agree know it's there.

This old idea always makes me laugh. I am going harder and harder left with every passing year, and I'm dragging my husband with me. He went from conservative to Libertarian to liberal to leftist. Not to brag.
RT only if you are NOT becoming more conservative as you grow older.

So odd that a company notorious for overworking their employees to the point of burnout are suddenly not okay with remote work. You know, the practice that allows their employees to have flexibility, actual lives outside of work and balance. Shocking, really.

It's fun watching my kid have new experiences. Like the endless and voluminous gas release after coming in from spending hours hanging out with her friends.
