the best advice i can give anyone who wants to casually Dress Like A Man is: raw denim jacket that develops wear over years that perfectly conforms to your body, thus making you Cool. many examples out there. mine is from "straight to hell." buy a size up. don't ever wash it. i love my jean jacket.
the end bits of my Starting T Shopping Spree are trickling in and they are insane. i bought a red velvet smoking jacket and steampunk boots. How Men Dress is still a conundrum to me

This has gotten so much worse just in the last five years. I've got a pair of leggings from 2019 that are still holding up. Meanwhile some I got gifted two years ago are already riddled with holes.
Clothes are flimsy and shitty now. I don't want disposable clothes. I want forever clothes. Please charge me an honest price for clothes that can be worn MANY times without disintegrating
